Established in 1996, The Pacific Blue Music Camp is a one-week day camp located in Santa Monica, CA for middle school instrumental musicians. This unique experience offers daily instruction for young band and orchestra students in a large ensemble setting as well as within sectionals and master classes. Students have the opportunity to work with established music educators and professional musicians who focus on core fundamentals of individual pedagogical techniques as well as large ensemble dynamics and practices. Rehearsals are led by veteran conductors who are sensitive to the needs of developing musicians to build confidence and pride in the art of music performance.
The Pacific Blue Music Camp is an ideal transitional activity for the young musician who is entering middle school. In addition, current middle school music students are offered more opportunities to both continue their individual advancement as well as to experience leadership roles. No matter the proficiency level of your middle school-aged musician, Pacific Blue will offer a memorable experience for all!
